Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Frisco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Frisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We are party of 6 entered the restaurant with Soniaji’s warm welcome. From there we had a fun time picking the dishes that were vegetarian. The Gobi Manchurian and Chilli paneer were spot on just like the street food In India. The main course was Khadi Pakoda that transported me to Amritsar In Punjab, with its authentic taste and gravy consistency. Bhindi do pyaza was just the right spice level with high notes of onion and spices. We ordered Garlic naan, and potato kulcha to go with it. Star of the evening sure was rabdi jilebi and jamun. I just ate the Rabdi Jilebi (just like in India for breakfast) the milky creamy consistency of rabdi, coupled with the just made to order crispy jilebi. Marriage made in heaven. This place you for the warmth of service by Sonia and the crafty hands of the chef !

Visited Panj Tara Friday night and tried a few dishes. For appetizers, we ordered Chicken 65 Punjabi, fish, and Haryali chicken. The Chicken 65 was more like pakoras, and the fish was quite dry. The Haryali chicken was decent. For the main course, we had butter chicken and biryani, which were okay but didn’t really stand out. On the positive side, the restaurant has a good selection of songs, decent ambience, and a pleasant overall atmosphere. Foodvise , I felt there was room for improvement.

Had a wonderful experience at Panj Tara! The buffet offers a great variety of authentic North Indian dishes, and the curries were rich, flavorful, and tasted just like home. There were plenty of options to choose from, making it easy to try a little of everything. The real highlights for me were the chilli chicken and the Hakka noodles - they brought back nostalgic memories and tasted exactly like the Indo-Chinese food you’d find in India. If you’re looking for an authentic Indian buffet with great flavors and plenty of variety, Panj Tara is definitely worth a visit!

Amazing North Indian food. We went on a weekday for lunch and the place was very quiet. But the food was fantastic. They have a lunch buffet that’s $19.99 on weekdays and the choices were really great. One small drawback. The food wasn’t as spicy as it should have been. Maybe because it was catered for a wider audience rather than just Indians. The flavors were truly authentic There is achar that makes up for the lack of heat! Highly recommend for authentic Punjabi / North Indian food.

Cozy place with a great ambience. Tried both the buffet and a la carte in the same week. The food was really delicious and enjoyable, though the a la carte portions felt a bit small for the price. The buffet had a limited spread, but everything on it was tasty. I especially loved the Goat Kadai and Chicken Angara—the pieces were tender with great flavor. The Chilli Chicken was just average and didn’t quite blend with the other buffet items. Ended the meal with Jalebi for dessert, which I liked so much that I even bought some to take home. Overall, a solid experience!
